Lime mortars are those mortars that are made with lime, sand and water. The lime used can be aerial or hydraulic, with the difference depending on whether it carbonates in contact with air (aerial) or sets in water (hydraulic).
The usual applications of lime mortars are mainly on facades, covering both interior and exterior. They have a lower resistance and a slower setting than Cement mortars, but they are also more workable than these.
In Microcementos Online you will find different types of lime mortars, but its use to make corrective insulation is applicable to all of them.
