PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT

The concrete supports must be solid, dry (completely set if they are newly built 28 days), level, absorbent, not contaminated with oils, detergents, powders or other substances.

• Evaluate the most suitable type of mechanical preparation, clean the support with a hydro-cleaning machine or rough it with the use of an abrasive, polishing machine.
• Oily surfaces have to be thoroughly devastated and treated, with Pavex 2C Primer + quartz already mixed or by dusting until saturated on the fresh product.
• On non-absorbent bottoms (ceramic, marble ...), devastate, sand and vacuum, then apply one pass with Ecopox Cem Plus 3C.
• On bases without guarantees of stability, create a reinforcement, adding to the system a fiberglass mesh.

APPLICATION GUIDE PAVEX PRIMER + RESIN QUARTZ

• • Mix the components A + B with a whisk at low revolutions for at least 2 minutes, add 50% resin quartz, mix for 2 more minutes, until obtaining a perfect homogenization.
• • The application can be done with a roller or a steel trowel. Stir the product so that the resinated quartz does not fall to the bottom by gravity

DECOPOX SPATULA APPLICATION

• Pour the contents of part B over part A, shake and mix with a low speed whisk. Add dilution water and continue mixing until a completely homogeneous mixture is obtained, then pour the content C (color pigment) and mix again until obtaining a homogeneous mixture again. Apply with a trowel without loading two layers with a consumption per layer of 500 - 600 g / m2.
• The amount of pigment with respect to component A + B can vary between 1 to 10% depending on the color effect to be obtained.

VELADURA APPLICATION

• Pigment the product with 1 or 2% of Universal Tint (if you want color) and homogenize with the use of a low-speed mixer drill.
• Apply the material with a trowel at an approximate consumption of 100 g / m² per coat.

• Delays can be generated in the development of its final characteristics, specifically deep drying and sensitivity to water.

• IMPORTANT

• For shades of yellow, orange or some reds, additional layers may be needed to obtain a good coverage (in some cases a first pass in white is recommended). Different production batches of the same color may have small differences, so it is recommended to use material from a single production batch.

  Some organic pigment-based colors (reds, blues, greens, and deep yellows) tend to fade when subjected to abrasion (either dry or wet). In these cases it is advisable to protect the color with a clear finish pass.
