Pre-mixed dry mortar, to protect concretes against sea water, certain chemical solutions and wastewater.

Especially indicated in surface treatment as waterproofing and protection of thick slabs,

as well as screeds and horizontal concrete surfaces, and in “sandwich” applications.

Specifications and application form

The concretes or surfaces to be treated must be clean and with an open pore.

Eliminate surface grouts, loose or broken parts, dust, dirt, grease, release agents, paints, etc.

It is recommended to clean with sandblasting, pressurized water, a steel barbed brush, mechanical brushing with a needle gun, etc.

SPRAYING APPLICATION ON NEW “SANDWICH SYSTEM” SLABS:

It is applied by dusting the dry powder, on the concrete still in a fresh state or on the bed with the reinforcement of the foundation slab already in place, and immediately before the execution of the screed, and on the same before helicopter trowelling.

Sprinkle uniformly respecting a consumption of 1kg / m2 on the fresh concrete of the foundation slab, once it can be stepped on but without leaving traces greater than 1 cm, approx.

Before the concrete is poured as a new screed, on existing foundation slabs, a layer of dry powder of 1kg / m2 will be applied on them before receiving the new concrete from the new screed, which once it can be stepped on but without leaving traces greater than 1 cm., approx., it will proceed to apply another layer on a 1kg / m2 basis before performing the trowelling, either manually or mechanically.

• In dry conditions and before pouring the concrete, spray water on the surface to fix and prevent displacement during the pouring of the concrete from the slab. (See Figure nº1)
• During the 3 days following the application and once the initial setting has started, it must be cured, by spraying water spray 2 or 3 times a day. In conditions of excessive heat or wind, increase the spray times twice, that is, between 4 and 6.
• To achieve maximum penetration of the crystals into the concrete structure, the surface to be treated must be saturated with water before and after application.
• Joint Treatment
• The joints between the different concrete elements that form the slab-slab, wall-wall, slab-wall structure, pipe passages, through holes (sprats), etc., should be treated according to our recommendations according to our Technical Application Bulletin (BTA ) 1,027 (TJS)

Dosages and Consumption

1 kg per layer applied by manual dusting or with a tracer machine.

Consumptions are theoretical and depend on the roughness of the support and other particular conditions of each work.

To determine the exact consumptions, preliminary tests must be carried out on site.

• Easy to inspect at the time of its application due to its white color with respect to the gray color of the concrete of the support, it allows full coverage of the application and consumption x m2.
• Self-sealing properties in concrete for small cracks and fissures up to 0.3 mm.
• Protects concrete against seawater, sewage, and certain chemical solutions.
• Protects reinforcing armor against corrosion.

Permeable to water vapor.

Waterproof protection increases over time, thanks to its Hydrophilic-Catalytic technology.

It gives the concrete excellent resistance to attack by sulfates and chlorides.
