Preparation of the support
- The support must have a mechanical resistance to compression> 25 N / mm2 and tensile> 1.5 N / mm2.
- The supports must be solid, level and absorbent
- They must not be contaminated with oils, detergents, powders or other substances.
- Ceramic substrates must be sanded vigorously until a matt surface is obtained.
- On floors already treated with resin, the perfect adhesion of the coating must be verified, in which case sand the surface and proceed with the application.
Pavex 3D epoxy self-leveling application
- Join the components in the same container using a mixer at low revolutions for a period greater than 1 minute.
- Quickly distribute the product with a notched trowel at a consumption of approximately 1 kg / m2 and mm thickness.
- It may be necessary to use the barbed roller to smooth the surface and facilitate bubble removal.
- Pigments compatible with the product can be used to color the product.
- If Pavex 3D is applied at temperatures below 15 ° C, contact with water or water-based products may stain, resulting in less chemical resistance as a result of incomplete cure.
