For information, tests carried out on new Catalan tiles, applied in 3 coats (fresh on fresh and until saturation), the yield was 50 gr / m2, that is, 20 m2 / kg.
Indoor and outdoor application, pavements, walls and ceilings.
Specifications and application form
INNER SEAL + FH, can be applied by immersion, directly to the support by impregnation or it can be incorporated at the end of the vitrification process of floors with high-speed rotary polishing machines.
INNER SEAL + FH is supplied ready to use and must not be mixed or diluted with other liquids. Shake the container before using. The surface to be treated must be free of dust, paint, grease or any other coating that could obstruct the absorbency of the material.
Visible damage and fissures (> 1.0 mm) must be repaired before applying the treatment. Protect glass, aluminum and other polished or painted surfaces to avoid abrasions.
In case of splashes, wash immediately with water and, if necessary, clean with acid.
Apply with a low pressure sprayer or with an impregnation roller; apply in one or two additional coats without waiting for the first one to dry (wet on wet), with approx. 5-15 minutes between each application, until full saturation is achieved. Apply carefully, as spray mist can be powerful and cause damage to glass.
On horizontal surfaces, INNER SEAL + FH can be spilled, and spread with a rubber broom, brush or polishing mop.
Avoid puddles during application and if necessary remove excess, otherwise bright or white patches could form.
Full saturation is achieved after approx. 30-40 minutes.
Both during the application and in the following 24 hours, the temperature must be ≥ +5 ºC. Do not apply in full sun.
INNER SEAL + FH dries and crystallizes relatively quickly, so apply the treatment without pause in a limited area. Remove any excess with a clean, dry cloth.
Protected drying is recommended for the first 24 hours, although optimum effectiveness is achieved after 2-7 days of drying.
The treated support cannot be covered with another coating.
DRYING TIME
Walkable after approx. 2 hours
Can get wet after 6 hours
Heavy traffic 24 hours.
Total resistance to aggressive liquids 36 days.
Cleaning
Cleaning tools and work tools In a fresh state, it can be cleaned with water. If the material is hardened, it can only be cleaned mechanically.
Dosages and Consumption

How does it work
Water and humidity cause most of the structural damage that occurs in construction, which can be very diverse, but the remedy is very simple: preventive protection against moisture through consolidation and waterproofing impregnation.
With the exception of glass and metals, all materials absorb water, mineral building materials are open-pore products, which, upon contact with water, produce the capillary effect, and large amounts of water can infiltrate the material in a very short time. of construction.
Freeze-thaw cycles, acid rain, crystallization, hydration and hygroscopy cycles, the expansion and contraction of the material itself, as well as the action of water containing carbon dioxide, destroy the crystalline network of mineral materials.
INNER SEAL + FH lithium nano-silicates penetrate deeply (more than 14 mm, CLASS II, according to UNE-EN 1504-2: 2005) through the capillaries, micro fissures and pores of the material, reacting with salts and the minerals, present in it, to form a calcium silicate hydride with extreme resistance.
The incorporation of a neutral catalyst, accelerates the hardening on the surface, as well as the formation of gel in the inner layers.
Chemical reaction
Quartz is the base material to manufacture the waterproofing component that contains INNER SEAL + FH, the molecular structure, is modified with organic groups, which are fully compatible with the lithium silicate matrix it contains and with mineral substrates.
The active principle of INNER SEAL + FH reacts with the silicate matrix, forming permanent bonds and reducing the surface tension in the capillaries and pores, thus slowing down capillary activity.
The silicon nanoparticles react with each other, and with the silicate matrix, forming permanent bonds and creating a three-dimensional grid that, without plugging the pores, reduces surface tension, thus slowing capillary activity and allowing the diffusion of water vapor.
These silicon nanoparticles, an active component of INNER SEAL + FH, can protect buildings and historical monuments for decades, against humidity and its harmful effects thanks to their excellent chemical and physical resistance.
Water-repellent impregnation of a facade reduces heating costs, as well as maintenance and repairs. Ease of cleaning and property value increase.
Consolidating and waterproofing impregnations with INNER SEAL + FH combine the highest technical performance with ease of application.
The result is a crystalline structure that is highly resistant to physical-chemical abrasion, protecting it from the entry of water, grease, oil, acid, salt, etc. as well as abrasion and shock.
INNER SEAL + FH, reinforces and waterproofs siliceous and / or limestone rocks, marble, slate, concrete, mortar, terrazzo, pavers and cement blocks, ceramic or klinker bricks, terracotta, non-enameled ceramic, porcelain stoneware, as well as self-leveling grouts of cement and concretes, increasing their resistance to abrasion by more than 60% and impact by more than 20 Nm (CLASS III, according to UNE-EN 1504-2: 2005)
INNER SEAL + FH, meets the requirements of UNE-EN 1504-2: 2005 as
PRODUCTS AND SYSTEMS FOR THE PROTECTION AND REPAIR OF CONCRETE STRUCTURES.
INNER SEAL + FH, is a water-based product and contains no solvents, is non-toxic, non-flammable and is VOC-free.
Properties
Prepared product ready to use.
Consolidating and waterproofing in a single product, which significantly reduces application costs, by having a lower consumption of products, as well as reducing staff and auxiliary time by 50% compared to conventional consolidation and waterproofing treatment in two phases.
Excellent penetration capacity.
Crystallizes, densifies and waterproofs mineral materials.
It does not vary the appearance or the color and increases the mechanical and chemical resistance of the treated materials.
It ensures an optimal pH level, which passivates the corrosive attack on the internal reinforcements of the concrete.
Anti-dust treatment, rejects oils and greases and in a single application phase, avoids subsequent surface treatments.
Reduces the growth of fungi, molds and algae.
It can be applied by impregnation or immersion, even on wet surfaces.
Its vapor permeability, avoids condensation in the supports on which it is applied.
Ecological product, does not contain VOCs, carcinogens, mutagens or substances dangerous for reproduction.
Usual Applications
Mineralization, densification, consolidation and waterproofing of concrete surfaces, (whether in mass, precast, cellular, etc.) gypsum, mortars, tiles, facing bricks, tiles and clay pots, natural stone, marble, granite, polymer concrete, etc.
