APPLICATIONS

Sanitation mortar and coating based on pure natural hydraulic lime and selected aggregates. Indicated for new construction, rehabilitation and old restorations in which 100% lime mortars or similar to the original are required. Indoors and outdoors.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR APPLICATION

Always respect the same percentage of water during mixing. Do not add water to the product once it is kneaded. Respect the expansion joints of the existing base, mortar, ceramic, ... Application temperatures 5ºC to 35ºC. Do not apply with risk of frost, with direct insolation, strong wind or rain.

EXECUTION CONDITIONS

Clean the support, removing any dust, liquids, chips, etc. Possible efflorescence residues and any other substance that may impair good adherence to the support must also be removed. Saturate the support with low pressure water, to prevent it from absorbing the water from the mixture. Insufficient saturation could lead to loss of adhesion and the appearance of cracks in the mortar. It is recommended to apply a first coat of semi-fluid consistency.

HOW TO USE

• Mix a Revex-Cal bag (30kg) with 5 - 5.5 liters of clean water with a mechanical mixer at low revolutions, until a homogeneous and lump-free mass is formed.

• Machine designed: knead with 17 - 18% clean water.

• Apply a first pass with a semi-fluid consistency, applying in successive layers of 15 to 20 mm thick until achieving the desired final thickness. Each layer will be applied before the previous one has hardened.

• Once the necessary hardening has been achieved, float to a rustic finish, with wood or plastic fillers.
• Moisten the mortar applied with water spray during the first 24 hours after its execution.
