Characteristics of Revislant mortar

This product is a mortar formed by mineral fillers, resins, high performance fibers and additives. It has great adhesion on all types of concrete or mortar surfaces free of dust, oil or other substances. With the Revislant mortar you will be able to give a layer of thermal and acoustic insulation outdoors

Revislant Product

• 25Kg paper sack, anti-humidity.
• Gray or white color range.
• Fixation between 4 and 5 kg / m²

Revislant's Observations

• The wind causes a shorter open time of the mortar and leads to less adherence.
• Do not apply with the risk of rain, ice or thaw.
• Do not apply on degraded or weak mortars.
• Conservation of 12 months in original closed container and sheltered from moisture.

Revislant employment features

• Rest time after kneading: 5 minutes.
• Plate rectification time: 15 minutes.
• Life of the dough: 1-2 hours approximately.
• Thickness per layer: 3- 5mm

Recommenlant's application recommendations

• Application temperatures 5-30ºC.
• The percentage of water may vary depending on the mixer used.
• Always respect the same percentage of water.
• On absorbent and dry facing, moisten well before applying the mortar.
• The support must not have irregularities greater than 10 mm with a 2 m rule.
• In rehabilitation work, clean up all degraded or loose parts beforehand and replace with Pavigrout or Pavigrout Rapid repair mortar.
• Do not apply in strong wind or direct sunlight.

Revislant Instructions for Use

• Mix Revislant with 6-7 liters of clean water per 25 kg bag until a homogeneous and lump-free mass is obtained.
• Let stand 5 minutes.
• Spread the mortar with a notched trowel on small cloths (2-3 m2) and glue the plate.
• Once the plates have been placed with the joints interspersed and the mortar is dry (24 hours), they will be drilled for the placement of the anchor block.
• After 24 hours approx. the surface will be regulated and then with the fresh paste the mesh will be spread across the entire surface.
• Once dry, a mortar pass will be applied in order to regularize and cover the visible mesh or some small irregularity.
